Sharlene Friedman

Sharlene Friedman has always been attracted to the arts and after studying fine arts in South Africa she came to Canada in 1987 and specialized in Art Therapy.  She has had a private practice in Art Therapy since 1989.  She also expresses her creativity making hand crafted pottery and oil painting.

Sharlene was first introduced to Jin Shin Jyutsu in 1994.  She was attending a "Worldwork" (a Process Oriented Psychology) workshop in Slovakia and upon her arrival was tired and run down from a stressful work schedule.  Her sister (also a Jin Shin Jyutsu Practitioner in South Africa) held her fingers and immediately the effect was something Sharlene would never forget.  This together with a few other flows and the knowledge that she could learn to do this to herself convinced her to immediately pursue the study of this art.  It took a couple of years learning a different branch of energy balancing including a year of training in Traditional Eastern Medicine Theory before she found herself at her first Jin Shin Jyutsu five day basic seminar.

Sharlene has been teaching Jin Shin Jyutsu Self Help since October of 1999.  She has also attended numerous special topic classes to help her understand this harmonizing art of energy balancing and shares her learning in an exciting and contagious fashion.

Sharlene gladly shares Jin Shin Jyutsu from the heart and for that the impact is something you too will not easily forget.  You can e-mail Sharlene if you are  interested in booking a single session or a series of 10 sessions.  A session lasts approximately 45 minutes to an hour.
