Michel Friedman

                             

 

 

Michel Friedman first started studying and working with Jin Shin Jyutsu in 1991.  After having dabbled with a number of massage and other body techniques she was immediately attracted to the simplicity, gentleness and non-intrusive nature of Jin Shin Jyutsu.

It took only one reading of the now famous interview with Mary Burmeister at a Holistic Health Fair to tempt her interest.  After her first weekend Self Help Course, she worked with Self Help for at least three years until she had access to her first 5 day course.  Besides feeling the general benefits of Jin Shin Jyutsu to her overall well being, she has over the years cured herself of, among other things, dizziness, hay fever, backache, amenorrhea and fatigue.  She has also transformed her lifestyle from one of DOING too much to one in which BEING is becoming increasingly important.  

Today, Michel works part time as a Social Development Consultant through which she has the opportunity to introduce Jin Shin Jyutsu to a wide range of community based and non-government organizations in Southern Africa and the Horn of Africa. She also works part time as a Jin Shin Jyutsu Practitioner and a NOW KNOW MYSELF Self Help Instructor.
